Fully Affiliated
Founded by Tony and Jan Hockley in 2005, our academy offers a safe, fun, learning environment, where we strive to help every member to achieve their full potential.
TJ Gymnastics is fully affiliated to British Gymnastics, the official National Governing Body for the sport.
All our coaches are British Gymnastics qualified, hold the relevant DBS certificate, and have undertaken safeguarding courses.

They start with a group warm up, before being split into smaller groups based on ability.

Become a volunteer coach
Welcome to TJ Gymnastics Academy volunteer programme! We love to grow our team of coaches, but realise it is difficult for new coaches to join our team, as a gymnastics qualification is required to coach a group of gymnasts independently. Therefore, we run a volunteer programme for ages 16+ where you volunteer alongside our coaches and are trained in-house to coach gymnastics.
